The games change. We keep coming back.
Nexus is a group of adults who have been gaming together for about a decade. The titles rotate and the servers get rebuilt; the people in voice chat are mostly the same ones from years ago. Take a look at what we play.
No grand plan.
Just people who stuck around.
A couple of buddies started playing Arma 3 in 2015, more people drifted in over the years, and the group just molded into something lasting. Somewhere along the way it picked up dedicated servers and a staff team.
That’s the whole pitch. We’re not the biggest community around and we’re not trying to be. We host the games we’re into, keep the servers healthy, and let the rest sort itself out. If you’re over 18, appreciate dry humor, and want good company in game, that’s the entire application process.
The servers and games shift with whatever the group is into. We don’t always get it right, but that’s half the fun.

How we got
from there to here.
Nexus has outlived every game it started with. Servers were retired, genres came and went, and the same core group carried on to the next thing together every time. That is the whole story, and it is worth telling properly.
Community philosophy
There was never a master plan. We just kept showing up for the same people, one game at a time, until ten years had quietly gone by. The games are interchangeable. The people aren’t.
Project Zomboid
A persistent server. A community trying to survive it.
Knox County doesn’t care how long you’ve survived. Our persistent server is a slow-burn story of safehouses, supply runs, and the occasional heroic last stand, told one in-game night at a time. Everyone dies eventually. It’s about how good the story is first.
